The Blackwood Valley Wine Industry Association is pleased to announce that their annual wine show has this year been renamed as the WA Boutique Wine Show. This change in name emphasises the state-wide nature of the wine show. It is the only wine show in Australia specifically designed to recognise and celebrate the outstanding wines produced by WA boutique wineries. The Blackwood Valley Wine Show will be held at the same time, with geographically limited entry options in this show ensuring a strong emphasis remains on our local producers.
Once the professional judging panel have tasted and assessed all entries and results have been determined, an Awards Presentation and Wine Tasting evening will be held for the public from 5pm to 730pm on Saturday, 21 October at the Bridgetown Gardens Function Centre. Come meet some local winemakers and find out why their wines are gaining recognition throughout the state. This is easily one of the best value events held in our region, with not only around 200 wines available for tasting, but also delicious canapés and live music - all for only $30 per person. Talk about a great start to the evening!
Tickets are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
They are available online from the Bridgetown-Greenbushes Visitor Centre at www.bridgetown.com.au or by phoning 08 9761 1740.
